Wake Forest University Summer Immersion Program- Sports Industry Management Institute

Wake Forest University started off its Summer Immersion Program with the Sports Industry Management Institute. This program is a non-residential summer program based out of the Wake Forest University Charlotte Center. It enables high school students an in-depth look into a specific career field. For the Sports Industry Management Institute, the students were allowed to explore the Carolina Panther’s locker room and talk to executives from the the Carolina Panthers, the Charlotte Hornets, and ESPN College Sports. The kids were beyond excited to get to go to the locker room, I’m sure they are going to get major bragging rights from that one. There are still spots open for other Institutes for this program, check out http://charlotte.wfu.edu/summer-immersion-program/ for more details.
